Westminster Abbey
Today was our personal guided tour of the Westminster Abbey. The Abbey is filled with statues, painting, graves, and tombs. It was such a beautiful sight to see. When we were in Westminster Abbey, we were there for a prayer. I thought that was wonderful timing to experience the true Abbey. Benedictine monks first came to this site in the middle of the tenth century, establishing a tradition of daily worship which continues to this day.The Abbey has been the coronation church since 1066 and is the final resting place of seventeen monarchs.(Westminster Abbey)
What I Learned: I learned that inside the Abbey, there is commemoration of Americans who aided in the war, such as Franklin Roosevelt.

Trafalgar Square
Trafalgar Square is a lively open space filled with Londoners and visitors alike. Trafalgar Square is managed by the Greater London Company. The name commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, a British naval victory of the Napoleonic Wars over France (Trafalgar Square). The square is bustling with people and everyday life.
What I Learned: Today, The square can be used for political demonstrations and community gatherings, such as the celebration of New Year's Eve.
